Have we met?

Vince Luppino started his apprenticeship in the building industry in 1976. Looking back, he can see he had a good start. “My boss was a hard man, but fair – I learnt a lot about building from him, and a lot about life. He treated people fairly. What more can you ask?”
Vince comes from a long line of hard workers. His parents came to Australia in the 1950s, and built a good life for Vince and his brother. He went to Norwood High, but wasn’t keen on school (though no slouch), escaping the classroom at 16 to make his way in the world.
He finished his apprenticeship, worked steadily for many years as a qualified contractor, then met and fell in love with his wife, Josie. They have three wonderful boys, and life is good.
Established his own business
Vince worked as a site supervisor, progressing to construction manager, then went on to establish his own successful building company. He reckons he’s built and renovated quite a number of homes in his time.
Vince is a registered builder: BLD 57644
Back around 2007, Vince was asked to look at a property for a friend, which is how he moved into Building Inspection. He’s never looked back, and has a long list of glowing testimonials from satisfied customers.
New technology in the industry
Vince has always been keen to try out new technologies and new ways of helping customers. He uses a thermal imaging camera and motion radar detector to detect the presence of termites, along with several electronic moisture meters. His latest innovation is to offer remote viewing to customers via video. Customers are really pleased with these services.
